Composer Notes on this Celtic Music

Wistful, soft and calm this is an original and authentic Irish harp tune. Celtic music is such a great genre to relax too and I hope to create a relaxing and calm piece of music that evokes feelings of content, happiness and nostalgia in this song.

You could argue that there is deep sadness in this music. The prolonged flutes and strings are sober and serious. I try to counter this with some light pizzicato strings and a flowing and rising melody.

In a nutshell, I think this piece of music could be interpreted as sad or just contemplative, either way, it is a relaxing piece of Celtic music.

I use authentic Irish music instruments in this piece including the harp, flute and tin whistle.

Inspired by the stories of heroic legends, this Celtic music piece has a heroic vibe and I imagine a warrior returning home or dreaming of home while on crusade.
