This is electronic and science fiction inspired royalty free music. Featuring digital sound generators and metallic sound effects, this royalty free music creates a futuristic science fiction world.

Composer Notes on this Science Fiction Themed Music

This music starts with a sweeping distorted synth to set the tone.

Inspired by sci-fi artificial intelligence themes, I deliberately use “sawtooth” waveform sounds from a retro sound generator and aggressive sounding synthesizers to create a digital and static atmosphere.

Heavy metallic war drums lay the foundations for this track which create a progressive and pulsing underscore. Interwoven with these metallic drums are high-frequency synths to create a hint of urgency and panic.

To create a dynamic element in this music and keep the listener engaged I change the sounds of the topline melodies at set intervals to keep movement in the piece.

When writing this music, I imagined artificial intelligence gaining consciousness and wrote the synthesizer melodies in a way to project the image that the different synthesizers are having a conversation with each other.

You will find one synthesizer “speaks” then stops while the other “answers”. All a bit mad really but fun. 🙂

This music could make a good soundtrack for movies needing a sci-fi feel, music for video games in the futuristic genre, music for documentaries or music for online content.
